Career change:
People change their career for many reasons for example, among them, workload and long hours were the leading factor in making a change. Another big reason is people feel they are getting very?low compensation against their work.
Making a big life change such as switching careers isn’t always easy. It requires some deep soul searching and methodical planning as to how to execute a successful career change. You may know you’re ready to start over in a new career path, but where do you even begin to determine what’s next? It’s hard to know where to start. Here I put some guiding points how you can make it possible.
1.??????Core strengths: ?When you are thinking of career change, you should know your core strengths. In which area you are best. If you don’t know, find out. Ask question to your self like which kind of work I easily deliver? in which work I feel very happy and satisfied? What is my passion? List the things. Go through your past experiences in which you play an extra ordinary role. List out those core strengths. Truly knowing yourself helps you make a smart career change from day one.?
2.??????Find out options: Based on the strengths you have listed, find out target industries, job positions, and opportunities that are of interest to you, where you showcase it. Narrow your focus and allow yourself to dream big, consider all career possibilities. Outline all your job considerations, creating a robust list of pros and cons for each option, including salary requirements, location, flexibility, benefits, and company culture.?Target specific roles and positions. Discuss it with your friends, family, and networking contacts.

3.??????Educate yourself: If your listed targeted work requires more detailed education, Go for certificate courses, workshops, and seminars. Reach out to your contacts, attend networking events, and immerse yourself in the communities relevant to your new role. Find out local organizations where you can get involved and start forming new connections.?Make time for informational interviews, become a mentor, or serve on the board of a community group. Share your contacts far and wide. You’ll not only feel good about giving back, but you will also receive far more in return professionally.
4.??????Make it happen: share your story in more detail why are you making the transition from your previous role and how you hope to utilize your previous professional experience in the new job.?share examples of your skills and experiences and how they’ve shaped your path to the new role. Give specific instances on how you’ve developed your skills and be sure to highlight previous successes.?Align your goals with the organization and declare it clearly.
?Planning for a career change can mean the difference between success and failure. Finding a job that fulfills you is the goal, but you have to do the work to figure out where you want to go. With a clear plan of action, you’ll be ready to make your next move and find a career that excites and motivates you and others as well.?
