Change Ain't Easy

There aren't many things in life that stay the same. Some might say we have to "Go with the flow." Others; "It's just what has to be done." And someone else, "It's time for change." Regardless, our world is dynamic. It is an ever changing being.

1.) Faith Every Day

No matter the change, have faith in those around you. We don't always make the rules. Your son decides he is moving to Austin, Texas or Phoenix, Arizona on a whim. Your daughter decides she is going to the Savannah College of Art and Design as opposed to the University of South Carolina. Have faith in their decisions. They've decided to make these decisions for their own reasons. Support them as best you can.

2.) Joy Every Hour

Moving to Texas or choosing a different type of college than you or I went to has the chance to turn out better than we expected. The building blocks of those decisions come together to make something beautiful. Find joy in the little things along the way. Remember that others are reaching for joy in their own way.

Little by little, joy happens when we see plans and dreams come together.

3.) Love Every Minute

We don't have to love every decision they make at the time. If we love them, the journey can be easier for them to love, and for us to love the journey with them.

4.) Hope In Each Second

Hope is a foundation all on its own. Hope can be renewed each day. I continually believe in hope for others. At our core, if we dig deep, I am confident that we want the best for others, more often than not. If not right this very minute, look for it. Hope is always there for us to find.

Change Ain't Easy! Have faith in others, joy in the journey. Love others and support them for who they are. Find hope.
