Change ahead…

While drinking my morning coffee, I usually take a first look at my phone. In recent weeks I saw more and more familiar names, checking my LinkedIn profile or sending a mail or PM. I am truly grateful for the outpouring of inquiries from friends and acquaintances during my time off. Thanks for your care and interest!

I feel that now is a good time to share the diverse tapestry of experiences from my much-anticipated break! Decisively initiating my journey by unlearning and unwinding, I embarked on a learning adventure, exploring new realms of knowledge and acquiring new skills. On top of that, I kept busy with a few passion-fueled personal projects and some pro bono consulting for startups. Each endeavor added vibrant hues to this truly kaleidoscopic break.

Admitting to having neglected my physical well-being before, I sought a better approach to self-care. Trying to balance mental and physical well-being, I dedicated? ample time to rigorous exercise routines, nurturing both mind and body. I spent plenty of time at places I love, doing the things I love doing (e.g. scuba diving in Thailand).

Recently, my wife and I traveled to the UAE - a journey not just geographical but deeply introspective. I didn’t expect to find so many spiritual and thought-provoking places - so much to see, learn and understand. Unexpected moments sparked profound reflections, serving as a crescendo to this rewarding journey.

As this rejuvenating hiatus concludes, I take a moment to reflect on such a rewarding period of time. I strongly encourage everyone to consider a similar break between jobs, it's an energizing experience that clears the mind and provides fresh perspective.

I am now eagerly anticipating the curtain rise on the next chapter, I stand on the precipice of an exciting professional adventure, carrying forward lessons learned, newfound energy, and indelible memories.
