So 2019 has begun, and with it comes the first change of my year.

The mask is coming off and theCALMmediator is no more. That trusty online presence I've used since 2014 is being disassembled brick by brick, put back in its box. It served me well as I started to find my feet in the world of conflict engagement, given my family law background and my meditative approach in family mediation.

As time has passed, my focus has shifted. I've become immersed less these days in family mediation, and more in the developing field of online conflict engagement, commonly referred to as online dispute resolution (#ODR). This has been as a result mainly of my work on Mediation In Your Pocket, and for now at least, it's where I reckon I'll be spending most of my time.

The old site at theCALMmediator.com is coming down, therefore, not to be replaced, and I've begun merging my social media accounts under the MIYP blanket.

In the coming weeks, my next aim of the year will be to learn more about you, about why it is that you've connected with me, about what I might be able to help you with. I want our online connection to work for you. I want it to be more than a mere passing 'like' or 'retweet'. I want the way we connect with each other online help to transform your own work, your own life in conflict engagement.

So don't adjust your set, and I'll be in touch soonly! :-)
