The City of Chandler has for decades been making sites and facilities accessible to and usable by people with disabilities. This effort culminated in a review of every existing City facility, park, and curb ramp during the last six years, to assure that all met the minimum federal and state accessibility requirements. As we move into the next decade, the City will adopt an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plan that establishes an order of retrofit where sites or site assets must be altered to meet the accessibility requirements. A key part of the development of an ADA transition plan is providing the public an opportunity to provide feedback about the order or retrofits to be made by the City.
