Championing digital health throughout Canada
We witnessed several significant strides in advancing digital solutions over the past year. As MEDITECH enters its 45th year of supporting healthcare in Canada, we are grateful to our customers and industry partners for their continued trust and collaboration. Sharing in the power of data across Ontario and soon to be British Columbia
MEDITECH's Traverse Exchange Canada network? is gaining global attention, including from the US and the UK, for its work in advancing healthcare interoperability and connectivity through sophisticated data entry methods. Experiencing rapid growth customer throughout 2024, it also connects over 300 long-term care sites operating the PointClickCare? EHR, multiple provincial assets, and the Oracle Ontario eHub. The network will soon expand into British Columbia.

Our customers continue to achieve HIMSS milestones
The CARE4 partnership hospitals in Central Ontario were recently awarded HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 validation. The partnership consists of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Georgian Bay General Hospital, Headwaters Health Care Centre, and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and uses a single instance of the MEDITECH Expanse EHR.?

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Toronto, ON) achieved the HIMSS Stage 7 Analytics Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity (AMAM) at the end of 2024. Earlier in the year, the hospital was recognized with two HIMSS Level 6 validations. The prestigious awards acknowledge the hospital's use of EHR technology and advanced analytics to improve patient care, outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Both Holland Bloorview and Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health and Wellness have the distinction of being the only Canadian hospitals to have achieved AMAM Stage 7.?

As part of their digital transformation journeys, many of our longtime customers are looking to MEDITECH to help reimagine how care is delivered.
In parallel with deploying its Expanse solution, Fraser Health Authority is one of the first health systems globally to deploy generative AI to assist with clinical documentation in MEDITECH’s Expanse EHR. As a pilot site for the clinical documentation use case, focusing on the hospital course narrative at discharge, Fraser will next deploy our AI tools to assist with nursing hand-off.

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is innovating treatment outcomes with Expanse Genomics. The leader in mental health care is also the first hospital in Ontario to offer complimentary pharmacogenetic testing for select patient groups to better understand how their bodies metabolize medications. These tests will allow for the precise optimization of treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique genetic profile.
