WILL THE CHAMPION OF DEMOCRACY BRENDAN GRIFFIN BE SILENCED BY THE LIAR MICHEAL MARTIN MARTIN?
Fine Gael and party whip Brendan Griffin, speaking in the Dail: said - about a matter that was causing him distress: “This is a public matter, this is for public discussion, this isn’t something you just brush under the carpet and put behind closed doors. This is not how the houses of the Oireachtas operates; it operates in an open and transparent way”.
The above statement is utter nonsense. He has just described how the Oireachtas does operate - and indeed how the so-called Public Accounts Committee works. I.e, with lies, dirty tricks anddouble dealing. If Griffin doubts what I say he can ask Martin Fraser, or the C&AG Seamus McCarthy - plus the multitude of TD's I've written to. Among them are - Leo Varadkar, Alan Kelly and John McGuinness. I also include the last minister for the Arts who censored me on linkedin. [See The Judas Goats] To prove all I maintain Mr Griffin should read my article published by linkedin in September 2018, [below] Then, to honour his word, he must demand that the civil servants who instigated this deception - and the Dail deputies who facilitated the cover up, be arrested and charged with Corrupting Democracy.
Then, and only then will the fetters be taken off the UNFREE PRESS and the truth about SIPTU and the Legal Profession’s cover up, be printed. While Billionaires and Millionaires run Ireland, this will remain an undemocratic utopia for the wealthy.
TO CLARIFY THE HEADING, MICHAEL MARTIN TOLD ME IN THE SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE - THAT HE WOULD ASK JACK O’CONNOR, WHY HE COVERS UP THE FACT THAT THE UNION SACKED ITS OWN MEMBERS AT BELFAST DOCKS.

HAS THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE BECOME A JOKE, AN INSULT TO DEMOCRACY AND A PLAYTHING OF WEALTHY EMPLOYERS.

Next week, by a majority vote, the PAC has decided to discuss Presidential Expenditure and Martin Fraser, Secretary General of the department of the Taoiseach will be required to be in attendance. Luckily for him this matter is just about money. When I wanted to go in front of the PAC it was to expose [to put it nicely] a Chairman of a Trade Union who fooled his union committee into acting for the Employers instead of union members. I also wanted the Committee to investigate why ex Belfast Dockers are dying from Asbestosis – and was told that only the C&AG Seamus McCarthy could decide what matter went before the committee. And [in his wisdom] he obviously decided this was not an appropriate subject for them to discuss. As I have just learned, this was blatant lies from Seamus McCarthy and the - oh so honorable Public Accounts Committee - as I now find the committee can decide for themselves who or what they can investigate.
I respectfully suggest to Mr Fraser, there are several ways to avoid to appearing before the committee - either be prepared to tell a Truth they don't want to hear or know about - or join SIPTU. No doubt the PAC has been recruited to cover up the diabolical behaviour of the ITGWU almost fifty years ago at Belfast Docks. Unbelievably the chairman joined the local branch with the employers, and established a Union and Employers Court which persecuted and sacked Union Members. The name of this ‘Court’ was ‘The Joint Disciplinary Committee’. Documentary proof of this is on- www.siptupresidentjackoconnorexposed.com along with letters from the Union and ICTU at the time, proving that they knew about the Court, and disgracefully, for Trade Unionists allowed it to function. The Chairman’s worst crime was to order Dockers to discharge Asbestos without protection to save the employers money. I will never forget his comment, “how can dust kill anyone”.
Shortly after establishing the ‘Court’ the Chairman left the Union and took the position of Labour Controller with the employers, and unbelievably was allowed to remain a Union Member. This was the first time in Trade Union History, anywhere in the world that an Employer was a Union Member and allowed to attend the only union meeting ever allowed at Belfast Docks, which was the AGM. To add insult to injury ten years ago the ex Union Chairman, turned employer, was awarded his fifty year long service badge by Jack O’Connor.
Not only is the PAC as a body covering up this anti worker, anti union and anti Jim Larkin scandal, many individual Td’s do as well, including such distinguished figures from the PAC like Alan Kelly and Sean Fleming. Incidentally, Micheal Martin, promised me ‘to my face’ in the Square shopping centre, that he’d raise this matter with Jack O’Connor and get back to me, [he was still president then] I am still waiting.
I will state here again, through the greed of an individual Chairman, Larkin's Union betrayed every Trade Union Principle devised by Larkin for the protection of workers – and behaved worse than William Martin Murphy did during the Dublin Lockout. Anyone watching grieving widows on UTV’s programme ‘Death on the Docks’, will be as flummoxed as myself as to why this has not been exposed before now.
Exactly how and why this Cover Up has infested successive Irish Governments, ‘the free press’ present day Union Leaders, Politicians, every Human Rights Group in Ireland - and now THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE is beyond my comprehension. Maybe some member of ‘the Open and Transparent PAC ‘ in words of one syllable can explain this to me.
I appeal to the Public Accounts Committee, get the blinkers off regarding SIPTU, and the so-called 'Free Press' , and actually do something for the dead and dying ex Belfast Dockers and their families. Where are the principles you had when elected? Principles which brought you onto the PAC to uphold Democracy and expose wrongdoing from wherever if comes. I make no apology for quoting Alan Kelly in this regard when he said: “We are called The Public Accounts Committee for a reason”.
