Champagne and Horse Racing at Cheltenham

The new Vestey Bar in the stunning Princess Royal stand (designed by Roberts Limbrick architects) at Cheltenham Racecourse is just one of the new watering holes  within the grandstand in which racegoers can either drown their sorrows or celebrate wildly or even just appreciate the fabulous views.   My visit to the opening was my first time at the impressive Cheltenham course and you can see why the Jockey Club is so proud of this absolutely inspirational race venue.  I am certain that the Owners and Trainers, the general public and visiting Festival-goers from around the world, but mostly the knowledgeable Irish, will appreciate the investment and design that has created such a special place in the heart of the English countryside.   You can almost sense the anticipation this year, so get your tickets well in advance and when the roars go up around the stands, hold onto your hat!
