Chamber releases 2016 Public Policy Survey results

Politics vs. public policy. Two areas that are similar, but yet can be miles apart from one another. Our Chamber, for the third year now, has embarked on gathering actionable data for our elected officials centered around public policy, not politics. This input informs our Advocacy Committee, which is made up of 7 volunteers, and their efforts to engage our board and members with advocacy in public policy that impacts our community. As the City of Murray and Calloway County continue to grow, both in business and community, so to will our efforts to become the friendliest town for business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Our survey reached across business sectors and sizes, encompassing large manufacturers and the unique small businesses that call Murray home. You can view the results here.

The Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce is the region's second-largest business advocacy organization and is the 9th largest Chamber in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It is governed by a 20-member Board of Directors, run by a staff of four, and supported by community investors.
