Despite the extraordinary circumstances of 2020, team Hanskamp keeps on researching and developing new solutions. After rain comes sun and we are proud to announce new products that make a difference to dairy farmers while once again turning installation into a piece of cake!

Our biggest invention this far, the CowToilet, has now been installed at the Dairy Campus of Wageningen University. For all of us this is a big thing! The research carried out by the University will prove what we have been talking about all along: an overall reduction of ammonia that leads to a better environment for cows, cleaner air and dryer hooves!

Earlier this year we introduced our new ControlPanel. It’s a very easy to use and setup in-parlour feed controller. Who knew this would change lives?! After years of shovelling, our PipeFeeders were installed in an Abreast parlour in Devon with the ControlPanel to control them. A simple touch on the display saves the farmer two hours of work every day! Each individual cow gets her feed dispensed over the milking time without slowing down the process or creating dust and noise. As the farmer explained: “This changed our lives!”

In Leicestershire, Stilton cheese is now being produced by cows that enjoy their meal coming from our PipeFeeders and MultiFrame, all controlled by our Spider solution. As a lover of cheese I am proud of this! Cheese producers know how important accurate feeding is for the quality of the product. Hanskamp’s Spider feeding computer gives them all the control they need to create great cheese.

Even though taking our PipeFeeders into commission at Duchy College in Cornwall has been postponed due to the Covid-19 situation, they are ready to feed in the new parlour!

Another parlour with our PipeFeeders and MultiFrames is currently on the way to the south of Ireland where they will make a farmer in the Waterford area a happy man!
