I’m excited for Fast Company's annual Innovation Festival in New York next week. It’s the 10th anniversary of the Festival this year (!) and always a busy and informative time—plus lots of fun to get to meet so many Fast Company readers IRL. I’ll be kicking off my moderation duties on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with a conversation with Kenneth C. Frazier, Carolyn Childers, Tiffany R. Warren, and Nina Easton at Chief’s offices. We’ll be talking about an important topic: diversity, equity, and inclusion work and how leaders can create genuine cultures of belonging. Despite the recent efforts of anti-DEI activists, many execs remain committed to building diverse and equitable teams. We’ll discuss why and how to do this work effectively. Should be a great conversation with some thoughtful leaders.
