Being a mom and an entrepreneur takes a lot of strength. Motherhood has taught me so many things that help me in my journey at Fashinnovation. Although, I often have to balance both things and face many challenges in my routine.
One of them is that sometimes I feel bad when I have to travel for a project. I know I'm leaving my daughters, so I find myself asking: “Am I doing the right thing?” So basically, I start a reflection process and think of myself as a mother and also as a woman.
If I'm not happy and they see me in a bad mood, they won't have the ambition for when they grow up and follow their dreams. I want to be an inspiration for my daughters. Regardless of everything, I want them to look at me and know that everything is possible for them as women.?
Another big challenge to face in my routine is when they get sick and my world literally stops. And it doesn't matter the size of the project I am working on, they are the most important things in my life. I can’t deny it! Stress stays there and there is also the issue of dealing with the partner in my work, which is also my husband. We try to be as calm as possible. We also look to reach out to our team to give us some help or to take a few things off our plate. After all, teamwork is everything!

For the mothers that are planning on being an entrepreneur: just start it. Start where you can see a way to start. Even if it's a small step, take this step. It is important not to try to seek perfection. Sometimes the imperfect can lead to paths you never knew existed.
Overall, it is necessary to have a balance between motherhood and entrepreneurship.? We as mothers need to realize when we need to take some of the pressure off and prioritize our priorities. Nothing is easy, but at the end of the day being a mom and an entrepreneur is so important at home and in life. At the end of the day, what matters most is that my daughters are my everything. They are the reason I do what I do because I want to leave a legacy for them to look at and be inspired to change the world.?
