Challenges for female workers in India

Higher status for women in terms of employment and work performed in society is, in reality, a key measure of a country’s overall growth. The fiscal stress on Indian families is growing day by day in terms cost of life, children’s schooling, shelters etc. is frequently heightened, pushing every single family to appear to supplement their take-home pay. As a result, women earlier being homemakers are being driven for employment.

The workplace is common with many concerns and obstacles that must be tackled on a daily basis for the working Indian woman. While the range and gravity of these challenges differs, the most communal are Lack of skills, experience or education, work–life balance, familial issues, childcare, Unfair treatment at work/abuse/harassment/discrimination flexible work hours, Gender Pay Gap etc. The ingrained belief that women are incapable of doing difficult work and are less effective than males have an impact on the payment of differential salaries and compensation for the same job. Gender bias poses a stumbling block during the enrollment process. When the law declares equality in remuneration, does it always execute?

But we can overcome such situations: which can be accomplished by creating consciousness and delivering guidance on about workplace policies on harassment, discrimination, woman’s rights, including her right to property, health, education, and a dignified existence. They must encourage to report all incidents of discrimination without fear and leave life of respected, protected, and fulfilled.

Only then will women be able to exercise the full spectrum of rights that come with being a legitimate citizen. We are the same country that celebrated victory to became 1st female to win an Olympic?medal Karnam Malleswari (Bronze), Airline Pilot Durba Banerjee, space mission Kalpana Chawla, to win Nobel Prize Mother Teresa, to get Ashok Chakra Nirja Bhanot, President Mrs Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi, Governor Sarojini Naidu, Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, P.V. Sindhu’s Olympic victory and admired many more women contribution

This is evident, when women are given the appropriate opportunities to develop and explore their potential, they will provide us with endless reasons to be proud of them.?
