What is SAP S / 4HANA?
SAP S / 4HANA is a real-time ERP suite for digital businesses. It is based entirely on the SAP HANA platform in memory, which facilitates a much simpler data model. Thanks to SAP Fiori, users enjoy the kind of role-based custom interface that they have become accustomed to as consumers and increasingly expect in the business world. Here, SAP S / 4HANA avoids integration gaps to provide end-to-end process support. This means that you no longer have to switch to a commercial warehouse to generate a report, for example, or complete the steps manually outside of your SAP environment.
Although SAP S / 4HANA has been created from scratch, it essentially provides the same functional scope as SAP ERP and is based on the data model of that application, albeit in a radically simplified form. As such, SAP S / 4HANA is compatible with conventional SAP ERP systems and does not require large scale re-implementation (greenfield).

Why change to SAP S / 4HANA?
As a successor to SAP Business Suite, SAP S / 4HANA makes in-memory technology accessible to previous SAP ERP users. To take advantage of the technical possibilities offered by the SAP HANA memory platform, SAP had to simplify the underlying data model and provide new interfaces to streamline processes and ensure an intuitive user experience. Making adjustments of that scale to an already established application such as SAP ERP would be simply impossible.
Meanwhile, SAP S / 4HANA leverages not only simple interfaces based on optimized data structures, but also the capabilities of its underlying platform, including full-text search. This provides companies with a technical basis to improve their current processes and define new ones as a basis for new products, services and completely new business models.

Technical advances such as these can simplify and radically improve existing processes, as the following example illustrates. Whether as a hobby or a profession, anyone who wants to share their own photos in the 80s and 90s will probably remember the complicated process of film insertion, snapshots, developing, post-processing negatives and sending printed photos by mail. It was a complex and slow affair, to say the least, and the only way to find out if the results matched his expectations was to see everything thoroughly.
Together with the Internet, modern smartphones and their high resolution integrated cameras have changed all this, not only making the process faster, but also reducing all the underlying "infrastructure". Furthermore, this example shows that speed alone is not enough: unless the fundamental architecture is simplified, the corresponding processes will also remain complex and unable to provide an environment in which creative solutions can be developed for the problems in question .

Use of SAP S / 4 HANA in the cloud
SAP S / 4 HANA Enterprise Cloud was developed to be the ERP in the cloud that is used with S / 4 HANA. By combining ease of use with flexibility and high efficiency, Cloud ERP provides a positive and welcoming user experience, one in which users will undoubtedly enjoy. The flexibility that we have come to expect from an SAP system is also present here and the existence of the server in the cloud reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) and the total investment cost (TCI) for the company. While SAP is a robust and widely used ERP, bringing an ERP system system offline to the cloud creates some problems that users who are used to the system not in the cloud can find. Let's take a look at some of these and how they can be solved in a simple way.
1) Data security
2) Technical knowledge
3) Extended customization and integration with other SAP platforms
4) Monthly subscription expenses
5) Understanding the cloud for users
6) Have the correct IT management
7) Support for a company before and after implementation
8) Choose ERP systems in the cloud
SAP Process Integration is part of the SAP NetWeaver platform. It is called SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure XI in NetWeaver 7.0 ehp2 and earlier versions. SAP NetWeaver Process Integration is part of the software component of NetWeaver and is used for the exchange of information in the internal system of the company or with third parties.
SAP PI / XI allows you to configure communication and integration between systems and connect SAP and non-SAP systems based on different programming languages such as Java and SAP ABAP. It provides the open source environment needed in a complex system environment for system integration and communication.
