Be Challenged & Lead On with Anupama(Part 5): YOU Matter!

Last week, I attended one of the best Leadership Conferences that I have been to and I have to say that I am just getting started! This was my 6th time at the International Maxwell Conference (IMC) hosted by Maxwell Leadership . These past 2 years I have had the privilege to serve as a Team Ambassador - servant leaders who are ready to volunteer their time serving during the event to make it a memorable experience for all the attendees.

My duty was at the location where the Photo Ninjas were taking Headshot and Stage Shots, my responsibility was to make sure the members had great poses for their Stage Shots... I think I did good, we will see when the pictures are published! Below is a picture of the team who took all the pictures for us... amazing team led by Christian Del Rosario!

My mentor John Maxwell says: If you want to feel valuable, add value to others. The question I ask myself everyday is "What do I value most? What prompts me to see a positive vision for my life?". I tap into what I value most and try to see what could be, it inspires me to take positive action. And every positive action I take helps me believe in myself, which in turn helps me to take more positive action.

In 15 Invaluable Laws Of Growth, I read that

If you have a positive vision for your life and you take action to fulfill that vision, then I will more readily recognize that my life matters.

What do you value the most? What prompts you to see a positive vision for your life?

I value my Faith, my Family and my Commitment to Add Value To Others. I love being a Connector - this is the ONE WORD that will tell you a lot about how I think about myself.

I am starting a new Speaking Cohort to help you develop your confidence speaking in front of a small group, large audience or in front of your boss. I had the honor of taking my friend on this Speaking journey - Ernelita Dacumos Confidently You LLC who was one of the finalist at StageTme for the IMC Aug 2024, through the Maxwell Method Of Speaking. She was already a good speaker before we met but we were able to take her speaking to the next level. I am so proud of her and her friends who have joined me in the next cohort.
