One of my favorite things about being a coach is the opportunity to challenge my clients’ thinking—the beliefs, habitual thoughts, and paradigms—that hold them back from leading their best team and their best life.?

I also love having my own thinking challenged!

I’ve been writing a lot about how to empower your team, why you’d want to empower them, and the skills needed to do it.

But there’s probably a voice inside your head saying, “Sounds great, but that won’t work for me!”

So here’s the deal…if that’s you, even if it’s just a tiny bit you, I would LOVE for you to challenge my thinking.?

No, really…join me at 1pm PT/4pm ET tomorrow (Tuesday, 3/26) for “stump the chump!” (just register here , and you'll get the details).

  • Tell me why it won’t work.?
  • Ask me about your special case.?
  • Describe your most hard-headed team member.?
  • List all the things you’ve tried that haven’t worked.?

You name it, I want to hear it.

Why? Well, there are several reasons why I love having my thinking challenged (and why it might benefit you, too!):

?

  1. Sharpens critical thinking—I have to?evaluate my beliefs, assumptions, and decisions, and consider alternative perspectives.
  2. Inspires innovation—it can lead to new ideas, approaches, and solutions that I may not have considered otherwise
  3. Steepens the learning curve—my “humility muscle” gets a workout, leading to growth and personal development in unexpected ways
  4. Strengthens decision-making—when I consider a broader range of factors, I’m able to anticipate potential risks and consequences, and I make more well-informed and balanced decisions
  5. Builds resilience—I’ve got to set my ego aside, be open to circumstances as they arise, and stay focused on the intended outcome
  6. Improves communication skills—I’m challenged to articulate my thoughts more clearly, listen more intently, and engage in constructive dialogue
  7. Grows community—when I create an environment where people feel valued, heard, and empowered to contribute their perspectives, it fosters trust and connection with my people <3
  8. Mission success!!!?Ultimately, having my thinking challenged leads to better outcomes for everyone.

?

You know I’m on a mission, so #8 is especially important. Your questions will help everyone on the call to grow, and you’ll be honing my approach to my 100-year goal of No More War.

Again, I’d love for you to join me for tomorrow’s Q&A (“Stump the chump”) at 1pm PT/4pm ET. Just register HERE , and you'll get the details for our call. Don’t worry, I’m the “chump” in this game, and I’m ready to play!

See you soon!

?

Cheers,

Jenn
