Chairman’s introduction

Asian Agribiz ’s 2023 Layer Feed Quality Conference will focus on critical topics that are so important for the layer Industry in Asia: pullet management, heat stress?and feeding strategies.

We will hold three streamed technical sessions – each with three hours of pre-recorded videos and a live Q&A speaker panel, initially broadcast on consecutive Tuesdays – 7, 14 and 21 November 2023 – then available to delegates on-demand for six months.??

These will be followed by a two-day live conference – nine hours of debate & discussion about the technical presentations, plus several keynote speeches addressing industry issues, in Jakarta on 27-28 November 2023.

This dual approach merges the best of both worlds: the clarity of videoed technical presentations that can be studied privately during a quiet moment and shared with colleagues . . . coupled with the excitement of on-stage discussion of the practical implications of the science.?

The three technical themes, each feature presentations by experts from across the region and around the world, will be:

• Understanding and managing the changing needs of the pullet. Led by someone well known to you – Doug Korver , Professor Emeritus, 加拿大阿尔伯塔大学 , and Consultant, Alpine Poultry Nutrition Inc, Canada and streamed on 7 November 2023?
• Innovation in heat stress management. Led by Chris Domil Cobacha , Animal Nutrition Specialist, CDC Nutrition, Philippines and streamed on 14 November 2023
• Accurate feed formulation for targeted egg production. Led by –? Xabier Arbe Ugalde , Managing Director, H&N International GmbH , Thailand and streamed on 21 November 2023

And, at the end of each streamed session, we will feature extended live Q&A panels to answer your questions posed during the presentations.?

The live event at the Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem on 27-28 November will review and debate all three topics chaired by each of our leaders, as well as include several keynote presentations such as an address on what sustainability means for the layer industry by Matthew Clark , Director, FeedGuys Resources Pte Ltd, Malaysia.
