Blockchain week kicked off with a bang on Tuesday 11th June as we saw a new entity join us with Blockchain Australia evolving into the Digital Economy Council of Australia (aka DECA). This also comes with a new announcement of Simon Callaghan stepping down as CEO and moving back into industry with Amy-Rose Goodey now taking the new organisation forward.

We saw some great highlights on Thursday from the Stablecoin/CBDC panel with Mark Staples , Effie Dimitropoulos and Arturo R. on the panel?

Reminder that whilst Arturo talks CBDCs here, he has mentioned the ability to drive central bank driven economies without the need for it (as blockchain tech can be used in other ways)

We had our evening event that night at Stone & Chalk with our biggest event yet thanks to everyone in town that week
