Chaddy spreads wings to help Oldham Sleepout
We had the pleasure of visiting Nathan Beckwith, Managing Director and Neil Uttley, Director at the fabulous, the Mattress Factory by Comfortex, from Anchor Works, Rochdale Road in Oldham.? The long established family business has generously become the headline sponsor of the inaugural #oldhamsleepout in Boundary Park Stadium on the evening of Friday 11th April 2025.? The Event is to raise awareness of the plight of homelessness and monies raised by participants will be shared to: Oldham Athletic Community Trust, EGG Charity, Northcare Charity and Oldham Food Bank.
The Mattress Factory by Comfortex has an obvious synergy with the theme of the Event.? Its’ Shop, outside the Factory, has a wide selection of mattresses including well-know brands all available at a fraction of Retail Recommended Prices.
Nathan Beckwith stated: “we have always tried to support local initiatives and this great plan for a sleepout had immediate synergy with out philosophy and activities.? Both Neil and I will be taking part and sleeping out on that night.? And the staff are really getting behind it also, as you can see how well they reacted to meeting Chaddy The Owl today in the offices and shopfloor.”
