With Google’s Universal Analytics (UA) set to retire on July 1, 2023, and its historical data to be purged on January 1, 2024, it’s time to make the switch to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). 2. Grab Audience Interest with Product Feeds for Google Discovery Ads

Recently, Google announced three new features to help businesses grow demand with Discovery ads. The three newest improvements were:

  1. Use a product feed to dynamically populate products.
  2. Product-level reporting and data-driven attribution.?
  3. Incrementality testing with Conversion Lift experiments.

3. Surprising Results from the IAB’s 2022 Internet Ad Revenue Report

The IAB’s Internet Advertising Revenue Report was released this week. While internet ad revenue slowed there was still jaw-dropping growth in 2022. Record-breaking growth for U.S. Search revenue was reported, coming in at over $84.4 billion! Paid search still came out on top and accounted for the biggest share of digital ad revenue with 40.2%.

Total U.S. digital ad revenues came in at a whopping $209.7 billion.

View more stats on our blog. IAB shared that paid social media had a slowdown in 2022 with its smallest growth recorded in the last ten years. The report shared that one major cause behind the slow growth was because of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT).?


4. Google Marketing Live is Approaching
