C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship: Funding Educations to Build Better Futures
Bob Biesterfeld
Public Company Director, Former President and Chief Executive Officer
For the fourth year in a row, the C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program for Truckload Contract Carriers will award up to 10-$2,500 college scholarships. The program is open to contract carrier employees—with a minimum of one year employment with their respective company—or eligible children of employees at eligible C.H. Robinson contract carriers. This program is just one of the ways we recognize the hard work and dedication our contract carriers deliver every day on the job.
It’s been said before, but it’s worth repeating: education is a critical factor in success—no matter which topic you study or industry you hope to enter. Not only does a solid education help you learn to reason and understand how things work, it shows future employers that you have the perseverance and conviction to stick with something that matters to you, no matter how difficult. So whether it’s a bachelor’s degree at a state college, an associate’s degree from a vocational school, or a doctorate from an Ivy League, education is always the smart choice if you pursue something you’re passionate about.
Rather than talk about all the ways a C.H. Robinson Foundation scholarship could impact you (or your child’s) education, one of our recipients from 2015 , Gabby Ruggiero, wants to share how much her scholarship has meant during her sophomore year at the University of Northern Iowa.
We are only accepting scholarship applications until February 15, 2016, so apply early. You can learn more about the C.H. Robinson Foundation scholarship and apply online at our scholarship website
