Yesterday Gannett Co bought Journal Media Group, the former owner of my employer the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Betsy Brenner, publisher of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, wrote a letter to our readers explaining what it means. The quick version: we're part of the USA Today Network. We'll be connected to their national coverage and they to our local coverage. I'm looking forward to it and to the stability it will bring. I'm fairly certain there won't be an interested buyer for Gannett Co for a while, unless Bezos is bored with WaPo. #oneGannett
