Ch-ch-changes
A look into Ontario Manufacturers amongst the pandemic in regards to production and air supply.
Your business is likely to be affected by current events. You may notice a change in your production. There could be an increase in production to keep up with the demand, or perhaps you have added production lines to help with the pandemic response. Depending on your situation, you could find yourself in a position of needing more air, either temporary or for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, you may find yourselves scaling back.
Finding a solution that will suit your needs
Know that you have options. If you have an increasing need for air but fear it is interim, consider renting a compressor. Many companies will offer a rental option. This can be negotiated by running hours, duration of the rental, and the type of compressor.
If you are in the Halton area and would like to find out more about rental options, please message me or call Airmax Compressor Services. (905) 681-6687 [email protected]
You found the silver lining and believe this demand is sustainable; it’s time to upgrade or purchase a compressor. There are many things to consider before purchasing new equipment. Reducing your hours, labourers, and production lines will, of course, reduce your air requirements. With this in mind, it is recommended you contact your service provider and adjust the running schedule on your compressor. If you do not have a PLC, contact Airmax and inquire if our Elektronikon is compatible with your existing machine.
As things normalize, there could be a gap in knowing how much air you need. The best, most effective way, to find out the volume of air you require is by an air audit.
I’ve talked about air audits before and there is endless information on the world wide web.

Economy Now & Things to Consider
As we are in the midst of a pandemic, we’ve seen stock markets hitting record lows, major trade deals fall through, and drastic changes to business operations. Despite the hits against us, Ontario businesses strive to continue to bring success to their companies and prove to be the back-bone of our economy.
Manufacturing plays an important role in Ontario's economy responsible for 12.6% of Ontario's GDP according to Ontario Economic Report.
We understand the importance of having a balance of CapX and OpX. We work with our customers to find a solution that is appropriate for them and affordable. Consider a lease-to-own option.
