CGM Power Group Announces Tender for 50 MW Solar Plant in Zambia; African Development Bank Seeks Consultants for Floating Solar Project and More...

CGM Power Group Limited , an independent power producer (IPP) in Zambia, has issued a call for expressions of interest for the development of a 50 MW on-grid solar plant in Chipili, located in Luapula province in northern Zambia. The tender is open to both local and international engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies.


The African Development Bank has issued a tender inviting consulting firms to express their interest in providing consultancy services for a floating solar project at the Kariba Dam, located on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. The dam, situated at the Lake Kariba reservoir, is a crucial hydroelectric power plant in Zambia.
