Over the past few days, CGH's team has taken on an exciting challenge. Throughout our company's history, we have manufactured thousands of LPG tanks, which has allowed us to become experts in research, development, and manufacturing. However, this time, we encountered an unusual task—the largest tank in CGH Group's history.

Introducing The Gargantua.
Our client has tasked us with manufacturing a 600 m3 tank for LPG storage. This order is truly unique, with a diameter of 4 m and a total length of 50 m. The tank has been meticulously designed to meet the highest safety standards, guaranteeing secure storage for our client's LPG needs.

Construction and Safety.
In the event of an emergency, safety valves will unlock and release the gas. The tank is designed to prioritize safety and quality, ensuring the well-being of our clients and their operations.

Special Size with Special Needs.
Our team approached this task pragmatically, considering not only the construction process but also transportation. The tank is manufactured in two separate parts, with the final welding taking place on-site at the client's location. This method is necessary as transporting the full-length tank would be impractical.

To facilitate transportation and installation, we have integrated special transport beams into the tank's wall structure. These beams will assist in unloading the tank from the trailer without the need for a special crane. Additionally, the beams are essential for welding both parts of the tank on-site.

Environmental Considerations.
LPG is widely recognized as a cleaner-burning fuel compared to other fossil fuels, resulting in lower emissions of pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and particulate matter. Industrial LPG tanks contribute to reducing the environmental impact of industries by providing a cleaner alternative to traditional fuel sources.
