CFP Championship Game Preview and Prediction

The CFP Championship Game will take place next Monday 1/13/2020 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The game will pit #1 LSU against #3 Clemson. Both teams are 14-0 this season. Something has to give. Which team will finish the season 15-0 and which one will finish 14-1. We will find out in a matter of days. All signs point to LSU as they are playing a mere 80 miles from home and the stadium will be packed with faithful Tiger fans. The stadium will also have several thousand loyal Clemson fans as the Tigers are looking to finish 30-0 in the last two seasons and win three out of the last four National Championships. Head Coach Dabo Swinney has built a powerhouse that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Could Clemson go wire to wire again this season? The Tigers may be the only team to start the season as #1, never lose a game, and finish the season as the #3 team in the nation. Such is the modern day of College Football. Look forward to an exciting game on Monday night. I predict the Tigers to win. Which Tigers - the Clemson Tigers - with a late field goal to cap off the 150th season of College Football in style.
