My colleague's Jason, Conor and I hosted an event last week with guest Speaker Roberto Martelloni (Cobit 5(F), CISM, CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, CSPO, CSM) giving his insights into WannaCry, how it came about and preventative measures for Ransomware.

He outlined the Malware Toxonomy and the timelines for WannaCry from the early March Patch Releases by Microsoft to the attack and XP Patch releases in May.

This meetup is part of a series we are conducting out of our board room where we will continue to invite InfoSec professionals from around Ireland to attend and enjoy insights from our guest speakers.

All sessions are built to be interactive and used as opportunities to share theories, remedies and relevant information amongst your peers.
