THE CES : This is the Most Powerful Tech Event in the World

The CES starts tonight in Las Vegas and will be held from January 7th to 10th, 2025. AI will be the central theme across all sectors, including robots, glasses, TVs, vacuum cleaners, smart home devices, healthcare, cameras, AI supercomputers, drones, vehicles (including self-driving), and even smart barbecues. Lenny Kravitz will be the special guest!

Smart Glasses

Smart glasses will allow users to capture photos and videos, translate speech, receive navigation assistance, track fitness, experience augmented reality, receive notifications, engage in social interactions, and access information hands-free. Companies like Meta will showcase Meta Ray-Bans, while RayNeo will present the RayNeo X3. Additionally, Google and Samsung have plans for AR glasses using Android XR. There are also rumors that Apple may eventually enter the race.

AI-Integrated TVs

AI-integrated TVs will feature content recommendations, voice control, house appliance control, and voice interaction. LG and Samsung (with their Frame Pro model) are expected to showcase new TV models.

Barbecues

Smart barbecues will offer automatic cooking and recipe creation, with the Zelos 450 from the barbecue tech startup Brisk priced at around $400.

Vacuum Cleaners

The Roborock Saros Z70 will provide smart cleaning and the ability to pick up objects like dirty laundry.

AI Supercomputer

Nvidia's new AI supercomputer, called Digits, is a small desktop-sized system capable of handling AI models with up to 200 billion parameters and will operate with a standard power outlet.

Smart Home Devices

Companies like Ring, Kidde, and Philips Hue will showcase new devices designed to enhance security and control in smart homes.

AI Gaming Laptops

Acer will introduce its top-of-the-line Predator Helios 18 and 16 gaming laptops later this year. The Titan 18 HX laptop will feature Intel’s Core Arrow Lake processor and Nvidia’s new RTX 50-series GPU, starting at around $5,000. HP will also unveil new Ryzen AI-powered ZBook workstations soon.
