As CES 2024 comes to a close, Las Vegas was once again a hotspot for groundbreaking moments and innovations. Here’s some of the highlights that we picked up this year:
?
?? AI & Robotics: Generative AI took center stage (as expected), but more interestingly was a notable focus on applying and embedding AI into all sorts of smart use cases.
As we already shared last year, a hot spot for Generative AI will be as smart assistants augmenting human productivity. Our own 凯捷咨询 booth was even an excellent showcase of this trend, where we demonstrated Olivia (pictured below!), our custom Generative AI avatar trained on Technovision 2024 to answer all your questions on future Tech Trends!
In the same vein, we saw Amazon unveiled generative-AI powered Alexa for a more intuitive, intelligent and resourceful AI assistants. GUIDi embedded AI into a smart belt that can help the visually impaired navigate without the use of internet or GPS. LG presented a talking and walking robot with AI and multi-modal technologies that enable it to move, learn, comprehend and engage in complex conversations, serving as an all-around home manager and companion rolled into one.
?? Electric Vehicles also took the spotlight: Honda showcased its upcoming 0 series electric vehicles, including the sleek Saloon and Space-Hub concept models. These EVs signify a shift towards lighter and more efficient electric vehicles. And we saw Hyundai and Supernal introduce the amazing S-A2 eVTOL (electric Vertical TakeOff and Landing) aircraft for urban air mobility.

And these are just a few examples of the many sustainable technologies unveiled at CES 2024, highlighting the tech industry's commitment to sustainability.
?I could go on and on about so many interesting reveals in computing, personal electronics, smart homes, circular economy…
?
Each of these innovations represent a step towards a more connected, smarter and greener future. I cannot wait to see what the rest of 2024 will bring.

As expected AI was the big player this year but the cool thing was that it was all applied AI to make our lives better, to "Augment Me" and us. I would add my personal favourite the Rabbit R1, which looks like a new generation of Tamagotchis (for those that still remember). It is showcase the new direction where it is about AI Large Action models that also can learn user intent and learn new things on the fly.... https://www.theverge.com/2024/1/9/24030667/rabbit-r1-ai-action-model-price-release-date
