CES 2022 Highlights

Every year, the Consumer Electronics Show, also known as CES, takes place in Las Vegas during the initial days of January. This year's exhibition also highlighted new trends, gadget apps, and breakthroughs. Here are some of the most celebrated products presented by tech powerhouses.

#1 BMW’S IX FLOW, THE WORLD’S FIRST CHAMELEON CAR

The concept car's exterior may be changed into shades of grey and white using electronic ink technology. The innovative technology, modelled after Amazon's Kindle e-reader, will bring the automobile body to life, according to the German automaker.

#2 SONY’S VISION-S 02 SUV

Sony Mobility Inc., the leading company in the entertainment sector, unveiled its new automobile division. "Vision-S 02," a 7-seater electric SUV which will compete with the Tesla Model Y, is the company's second electric vehicle idea that has been publicly unveiled. The goal of the prototype car is to advance mobility.

#3 SKINETIC, THE HAPTIC VR VEST

This is your ticket to the metaverse! Actronika created a VR vest with 30 years of knowledge in the science of touch to give you real-life experiences for unique virtual experiences (movies, games, training, etc.). For maximum immersion, the vest incorporates 20 special vibrotactile voice-coil motors that produce various vibrations.?

#4 Somalytics SomaControl And SomaSense

In November, the University of Washington spun off Somalytics, a business that brought its goods to CES. Somalytics' products are powered by tiny carbon-nanotube paper composite capacitive sensors, which are claimed to be 100 times smaller and ten times faster than current capacitive sensors. According to the firm, the SomaSense 3D floor mat watches, tracks, and reports presence, gait, foot pressure, and other wellness variables.

#5 Boogie Board’s VersaNotes

VersaNotes are flexible, paper-like LCDs that are thin and lightweight. They come in three sets, each 4 x 4 or 4 x 6 inches in size. A VersaPen pen is also included. Think of them as reusable sticky notes: Write something down, keep it around, and when done, use a magnet to wipe the entire surface clean.
