#Cervicalcancer is recognized to be the third most deadliest cancer in women and occurs mostly in women in their 30s. This kind of cancer is found in the cervix, which is the opening between the vagina and the womb otherwise known as the uterus.

Both the cervix and the vagina are a part of the female reproductive organ and are connected to form the birth canal. This cancer develops slowly in the body but before cancer occurs, the cells of the cervix undergo changes known as “dysplasia”.

Dysplasia occurs when?unusual cells begin to appear in the cervical tissue, which?if not well taken care of, the cells start to grow and spread into the cervix leading to cervical cancer.

Causes of Cervical Cancer

There are many reasons why a woman may have cervical cancer. The growth of abnormal cells in the body can lead to cancer especially when it isn't controlled. This high growth in cells can lead to excessive buildup in cells which in the end forms a lump.

However, some of the causes of the deadly cervical cancer?include:?HPV, weakened immune system, birth control pills, and early sexual intercourse.
