We champion the supply of premium fire safety products which have been third-party certified for both manufacture and installation.

We are committed to providing the highest level of independent verification to ensure that our installed product is not only safe and fit for purpose but demonstrated to be so.

In her post-Grenfell findings, Dame Judith Hackitt DBE, famously heaped criticism on "ambiguous and inconsistent" Fire Safety Regulations and a "weak and complex" compliance regime.

Large swathes of the industry were rightly chastened but - to paraphrase Dame Hackitt’s more recent pronouncements - it has since risen to the challenge and must use the significant progress made as a model for long-term transformation.

Third-party certification provides the assurance needed by MEP specifiers, contractors, building owners, insurers, emergency services and, certainly not least, building occupants. It maintains, indeed strengthens, the ‘Golden Thread’ of information for which Dame Hackitt so fervently called. When it comes to Fire Safety, surely we all owe that much. For us, it is non-negotiable.

Firesafe Fire Rated Ductwork, the creator and licensor of CASWELL FIRESAFE?, is third-party accredited by notified bodies such as Applus, WarringtonFire and UKAS.

Firesafe Fire Rated Ductwork is an active, full member of the ASFP (Association for Specialist Fire Protection) which is dedicated to promoting continuous improvement in passive fire protection and improving the quality of installed fire protection within all forms of construction.

It stands squarely behind third-party certification.

Testing of CASWELL FIRESAFE? to all relevant fire safety Standards is performed by Applus, a third-party notified body.

Manufacture of CASWELL FIRESAFE? by Licensed Partners - such as C.Caswell Engineering Services Ltd, Firetrace Ductwork Ltd and Sweeney Sheet Metal Ltd (Ireland) - is monitored, audited and certified by Applus.

Installation of CASWELL FIRESAFE? is able to be certified by FIRAS. Caswell are third-party certified installers and relevant staff are qualified as FIRAS-accredited Technicians and Supervisors under the voluntary FIRAS third-party certification scheme. It is the mark of endorsement of competency and instrumental in improving the installation and maintenance standards.
