Authentic branding is about creating something that achieves several things:

  1. Transporting a vision, an aspiration, to the reader or viewer
  2. Gives something unique the voice it needs to be heard
  3. Conveying a transformation that your product or service makes possible

This is as true for?branding?as it is for?rebranding?which is why I speak about this in this episode of?One Minute Wednesday:

Authentic Branding

Branding done without understanding is deadly.?It’s just going through the motions.

This leaves you with only two options:

  • Copycat tactics?or
  • Authentic branding.

Copycat tactics go through the motions based on checklists and other “color-by-number” solutions?versus?authentic branding that uses?understanding?as its foundation.

To have a voice that’s real, you need authenticity and the foundation of that is originality which is made possible only by insight.

And when you have that real comprehension, you have something that’s priceless: judgement.
