A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing Elyse Allan, the President and CEO of General Electric Canada, on my CJAD 800 radio show The CEO Series.
Elyse joined GE in 1984 and has worked in the U.S. and Canada, in industries including aviation, energy, and lighting. She took on the role of President and CEO of GE Canada in 2004.
Previously, Elyse was the President and CEO of the Toronto Board of Trade and a senior executive at Ontario Hydro. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from Dartmouth College, and is the recipient of numerous awards - including being appointed Member of the Order of Canada.
