The Image Maker as Leadership Research
In 2010 LinkedIn was already a reference in leadership, it was an article from the Kansas Leadership Examiner on January 10, 2010 (leadership books recommended by LinkedIn experts) that we also read on Linkedin, the one who became an eye opener. From there we got a lot of books because although we had already read many of that list, we were fascinated by the list itself due to its quality of content, precision and lay-out.
We could tell you about many books on this list, but without a doubt, 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class by Steve Siebold and Becoming a Resonant Leader by various authors and professors, including Boyatzis, stood out.
This is Steve Siebold
who, as you can see, is well known in America. In 2010 we read 177 Mental Toughness Secret of the World Class. And for each of the 177 secrets he has a recommendation normally supported by books. The first book that he recommended was You Were Born Rich by Bob Proctor, which we wrongly thought that we had already read, and we wrote it down but the ignorance wanted us to buy about 10 books recommended by Siebold but not that one by Proctor, probably because we thought that as we had already read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill a long time ago, we knew it all. We were naive.
The first practical leadership lesson was to humbly recognize our ignorance. This is what Proctor says in chapter 3
"This could very well be the breakthrough for you, because ImageMaking, once we get a firm grip on it, is a truly dynamic idea."
?"I want to suggest, right at this moment, that you read this chapter over a few times, because most people live and die and never fully understand the power of Image-Making. "
When we read it we said to ourselves: this gentleman is telling the truth. Here more truths of his
Understand that we are relating this idea to “money” in this book; but I want you to know that once you fully understand the Image-Making concept, you can effectively use it for whatever good you desire.
which reinforces further when he says
I am not able to tell you the exact date on which I myself gained an understanding of Image-Making, but I can tell you it has had as great an impact on my life as any idea I have ever learned.
When we read it
we felt that this gentleman (RIP he died February 2022) whom we listened to every day in this video , tells us that this is the best idea that most people never learned because what we were missing is that
a) we all have this natural knowledge
b) understand the monetary implications of it

c) what is more important it is to understand that we all have to move from the competitive plane to the creative plane of the mind
This point c is so important that Bob Proctor says in other books that when he entered the Board of Directors (BoD) of a company he already saw who in the BoD was mistakenly focused on the competitive plan (daily tasks) instead of the creative plan (abundance of income and customers). To reach this wonderful conclusions Proctor had learned by the book all the teachings of Wallace D Wattles in the Science of Getting Rich namely
The idea of Image Making could very well be the breakthrough for you, because Image Making, once we get a firm grip on it, is a truly dynamic idea.
Read the concept of Image Making over a few times, because most people never fully understand the power of Image Making. This is a truth like a temple: but people waste time with
-coffee rush in the morning
-meetings that get you nowhere and where they are afraid
-visits to the doctor for stress
-in the end low quality of life for the family

And as a result they don't have the sales rep per sales rep mental picture of what they have to accomplish in sales. Therefore, the strategic number that the CEO presents to the Board of Directors does not have a scientific basis, as Wallace Wattles explains.
Thus for the first module i.e. Image Maker Permanent Trail the first steps would be

It is made daily and printed daily? ??
In yellow are the clients that are maturing? ??
sales in green? ?
?blank what is possible? ??
Nothing is put in red, toxics are eliminated? ??
It is printed daily? ??
At the end of the month the green ones are deleted and what is not going to be followed and the total summary? it is imported the following month, this is an abundant balance following the law of abundance?
Because as Zig Ziglar said, sales have to be millimetric. And so for each of the 8 Image Maker modules of this eighth newsletter.

2 年Another way of looking at this might be that Management is about turning "can't-do" into "can-do", while Leadership is about turning "have-to" into "want-to".
