Recently, Century Commodities Solution (International) together with Sian Chay Medical Institution went to Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home (hereinafter referred to as “Children’s Home”) and carried out a meaningful public benefit activity.

On 31st May at 9 in the morning, the Managing Director Hu Lei of Century Commodities Solution (International) together with other colleagues went to the Children’s Home and gave children the bus cards and stationary set as gifts that they have carefully prepared. To show more care and company to the children, after the brief greetings, Hu Lei took them to the newly opened Bird paradise. During the close contact with the little animals, they together explored the mysteries of nature.?

The Bird paradise has the largest rhinoceros hornbill gene reserve in the world, including more than 20 species with the new ones, among which 24% of them are endangered, accounting for the highest percentage in the world. There are more than 3,500 birds of about 400 species, making it the best choice for a “bird discovery journey”.

After arriving at the park, staff from Century Commodities Solution (International) helped the guardian of the Children’s home lead the children in and had a close look at various habitats including African rainforest, wetland of South America, rice field of Southeast Asia and the dry eucalyptus forest in Australia. They explained to children related knowledge of bird’s ecology and endangered species protection. The children listened carefully and raised questions with curiosity. They even?had a close interaction with birds under care, bringing them joy just like the sunshine in summer. After the visit, they returned by bus.
