Central Park Plunge

Hi Everyone :)

It feels a little bit unnatural to me asking my friends, family, network to help me with fundraising.... However that's exactly what I need to do! 

On September 4th of this year, thanks to AnglicareWA, I will be abseiling down 220 metres (yes 220 metres!) down the central park building, supporting 'Street Connect.' Street Connect is a daily outreach presence on the streets of Perth. On any given night, over 6,000 young people go to sleep homeless in Western Australia. Street Connect is the primary source of support for many of these vulnerable youth and provides homeless young people with the resources and services they need to get off the streets and into their own home. Receiving no government funding, Street Connect depends on philanthropic funding to help their clients and so we hope to raise as much money as possible through the Central Park Plunge! 

Most people that know me will know my feelings about seeing people young people on the street, so I'm really excited to be a part of this amazing effort and actually being able to help, rather than my usual talking about wanting to help. I would really appreciate any donations from anyone is kind enough to give.
