The PNE Prize Home has been a staple of Vancouver’s Pacific National Exhibition for 90 years, and the 2024 winners will get an extra benefit: They’ll be treated to a lifetime of home comfort courtesy of Centra Windows and our high-performance products.
The 2024 PNE Prize Home was built by our friends at Miracon Development . It is valued at $2.35 million, making it quite the prize for the lucky winners. It spans 3,486 SQFT and includes a double garage and a two-bedroom basement suite. To top it all off, the windows were custom-made by Centra, which promises to bring a lot of long-term benefits for the future occupants…
Improved Temperature Control
Centra Windows’ high-performance products are designed to provide superior insulation, helping to maintain a consistent and comfortable indoor temperature throughout the year. By reducing heat transfer, these windows ensure that the home remains cool in the summer and warm in the winter, significantly enhancing energy efficiency and reducing heating and cooling costs for the Prize Home winners.
Reduced Neighborhood Noise
One of the standout features of Centra Windows is their ability to significantly cut down on external noise . Older, single-pane windows were especially bad for this, but more modern windows can include multi-layered glass with offset thicknesses to disrupt sound waves, and laminate glass that effectively blocks disruptive noise from outside. All new windows should be a minimum of two panes and have superior seals, helping homeowners such as the Prize Home winners regardless of whether the extra sound-reduction options are chosen.
Increased Curb Appeal
The 2024 PNE Prize Home is stunning as is – and even more so thanks to Centra Windows. Our custom-made products aren’t just functional, we also put plenty of thought into their appearance. They match the Prize Home’s modern farmhouse aesthetic perfectly, with the dark frames complimenting the siding. The home is certainly one that’ll leave a lasting impression, and the new homeowners will have plenty to be proud of.

Enhanced Security
Modern windows such as those designed by Centra are more secure than their outdated counterparts. Reinforced vinyl frames and multipoint locking systems, which secure the frame at multiple points with a single handle or key, offer superior protection compared to older windows. Tamper-resistant hardware, including specialized locks and handles, also helps boost security . Other options to improve home security with windows include the addition of laminated glass, which consists of multiple bonded layers, greatly enhancing resistance to breakage and shattering.
Lower Maintenance
Centra Windows are easy to maintain thanks to a number of neat features. Our windows are engineered with materials that resist warping, cracking, and fading, and thanks to features such as removable tracks and brass rollers, they’re easy to clean and will stay in top shape far longer. This means the winners of the 2024 PNE Prize Home can spend less time on upkeep and more time enjoying their beautiful new space.
The deadline to enter the draw for the 2024 PNE Prize Home is September 2nd. Get your tickets while you can!
