CENTER FOR SEEKING JUSTICE

During my visit to the new Psychological and Legal Support Center at iFood in Rio de Janeiro, also the headquarters of BlackSisters in Law , our dedicated partner for supporting delivery professionals, I was deeply moved. This is a place of listening and essential support for those facing violence in their line of work.
What stood out the most was hearing the stories of those seeking help at the Center. The accounts from the Sisters, who handle the initial assistance, emphasize the importance of conducting this process with extreme care and diligence.
Nilton's story, the delivery driver shot in Rio de Janeiro, is not an isolated incident but rather an echo of a sad reality that we are determined to change. I see three crucial solutions embedded in our Center's proposal: immediate, humanized assistance, pursuit and access to justice, and prevention to avoid future cases.
Our vision is to transform the Center into a hub of excellence; not just a support space but also an environment conducive to development.
This visit reinforced the importance of continuing this initiative, scaling it, and strengthening it. Taking care of people and combating abuses are ongoing priorities.
Reporting is crucial. Share!
