The Center Establishes "Partners in Learning"
The Center for Ethics in Financial Education created its Partners in Learning designation to highlight those colleges and universities that have demonstrated a commitment to teaching, and conducting research on, ethics and financial literacy in their finance/economics/business programs. While these schools may not have a finished product in these areas, they are working with the Center toward that goal as their programs evolve.
The Center provides intellectual resources in terms of research and experience to assist universities in creating curriculum for integrating ethics and financial literacy into their programs.
Schools becoming one of the Center’s Partners in Learning embrace the vision and mission of the Center as we work with them to help their students and other members of their communities understand how to do finance the right way and, thus, to develop sound financial management skills. In that process, they provide valuable philosophical and practical education about finance and can demonstrate to prospective and current students, alumnae, donors, and other interested parties that they have made this commitment, thus advancing their own vision and mission.
We are pleased that the Department of Economics, Business, and Entrepreneurship and The Woltemade Center of Ohio Wesleyan University is the first of the Center's Partners in Learning.
If you or your company can appreciate the work of the Center on ethics in finance and financial literacy and understand how financial support for it can help address these issues by educate young people, please visit our website at www.center4ethics.org to learn more.
