The Major advantage consist of CGB (Abbrevation of Ceramic Grinding Balls):
A) Saving power: it helps reduce 20-30% of loading weight of grinding media, and the main engine current sees a decrease of 20% minimum, the electric power consumption rate drop by around 10-15% as per TPH cement feed.
B) Decrease of cement temperature and ambient noise: It helps bring down the ball mill operation temperature by 15-20℃ and noise by 15 db during mill operation. The cement quality is further guaranteed as the temperature stay below 100℃.
C) Maintenance cost drop and equipment service life extended: as the ball mill loading weight and operation temperature both drop, the bearing bush benefit.Lubricate oil service life become longer. All these contribute to further production cost saving.
D) Longer grinding service life: The wear loss of CGB is less than 50% of that of steel ball.Take OPC.43 grinding operation in China for instance, the high Cr6 steel ball is 30-40g/T in wear loss rate ( 1 chamber),while the CGB is 15g/M maximum. 5 Environment friendly: It helps the cement free from metallic pollution.Because CGB contains no metallic elements as compared with high chrome steel balls, it’s much more environment friendly.
What’s CGB?
CGB is the abbreviation of Ceramic Grinding Balls. According to the purity, it consists of 30%,50%,68%,75%,85%,90%,92%,95% and 99%. In cement industry, the most appropriate one t is made of high purity alumina featuring high temperature tolerance, hard wear resistance. Main composition 90-95% of Aluminum Major enhancement element Up to 3% of Zircon element Manual rolled method 1mm-40mm in Diameters Isostatic pressed method 13mm-80mm in Diameters. shaping methods: Manual rolling and isostatic press.
What’s the physical properties of CGB?
Mohrs Hardness 9.0
Rockwell Hardness 80-83%
Density 3.55-3.70
