#13. In this publication we found that by genetically altering the amounts of the glucose transporter 4 in adipocytes, the composition of vesicles and other important proteins/molecules would also be altered. If things in cells are changed/out of balance due to either environmental factors or drugs this may affect the composition of other important components of the cells or of its organelles.
