Today’s society is being lured into the supporting the always growing celebrity nation. Simply put, it is an elite group of those who are otherwise known as the rich and famous. The list includes, celebrities, Royalty, influencers, friends of the famous.

A Famous person will complain about the media and at the same time, use media as their tool. That is thew way of the celebrity-media circle of life. They use each other.
Funny thing, most of the world hasn’t met the famous people that we read about on places such as the DailyMail, TMZ and etc.. and yet, we spend a large amount of time reading about them and watching them on tv.
Over the years I have met my fair share of celebrities and royalty. I have been on Getty Images, which I find funny as I hate being photographed. Have I ever had a celebrity crush? No.?
Why do we clutter our heads with useless information that has no purpose? It is a tricky game where the general rules of behavior doesn’t always apply. There are different tactics used to lure us into this game. Bait is carefully plotted to tempt the unsuspecting celebrity fan-victim.

Also, thinks about those who dedicate their time to creating fan sites. What possesses someone to do these things? These types of celebrity obsessions are only adding fuel to the fire.
Money plays an important factor in the game. If you were to calculate every newspaper article, concert, magazine, reality show, product and website, you have made available to yourself and you would realize that a few dollars can add up.
I feel that the belief that celebrities are the public’s property is partly responsible especially when magazines and websites splash celebrities dirty laundry across the front pages weekly for everyone to see. There is also the suit lurking in the background quietly filling his pocket with the profits.?
It used to be celebrities and most members of royalty didn’t give themselves so freely to the public. Everything about famous people seems more surreal today than?in the past.?
They always grace the cover of Vogue, airbrushed to perfection. We are only supposed to see that masterpiece and because this image of perfection has been projected through celebrities, we have alienated them.?
As if they were gods and goddesses, we have immortalized them as we worship them humbly from below Mount Olympus. We’ve forgotten that they are no different that you and I. They are human beings who have same wants and needs.
So the public needs a reminder once in a while to let them know that once upon a time, celebrities were just normal people too. Except today, they have a lot more money than you or I have.
My question is, who will be the next one ushered into the madness of this celebrity nation? For now, they’re just another face in the crowd.?I have never been into celebrities- why are so many people obsessed?
