In Celebration of Women Everywhere

It is International Women's Day and one of my favorite celebrations of the year because of how much it means to me personally, and the critical role women have played in my life. I was raised by a strong woman, who herself being raised by an equally strong woman was able to raise three strong women before me. Along the way I picked up a cheerleading squad of sisters who pushed me, supported me, and encouraged me. I was fortunate to build a phenomenal "Board of Directors" to the enterprise that is called "Kiki Ltd" who have mentored me; challenged me; and sponsored me. my greatest role models are all women. These women asides all the other things that they are - professionals, mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, bread winners, caretakers, therapists, entrepreneurs, leaders... still manage to invest in my story and that of many others. In recent times women around the world have begun to shatter glass ceilings and we continue to proudly celebrate many firsts. The strength of a women is unequaled and a month is certainly not enough to celebrate them; however, in a world where they are still underappreciated and underrepresented at the helm of governance you can start by throwing your hands up today and pledging to #choosetochallege a system that is threatened by the greatness that will be unleashed when women are allowed to explore their full potential on an equal playing field. Celebrate all the women in your life; and don't forget the ones you work with because their perspective drives innovation and growth within your teams. Be an ally because women certainly make the world a better place

To all the amazing women out there reading this, thank you for all you do to give little girls the courage to conquer the world. And to the phenomenal women who are a part of my story and journey, Kiki Ltd would not exist without you. It is certainly a great time to be a woman. GIRLS ROCK!!!
