Celebrating a Year of Achievements

Throughout the last year, I've been fortunate to collaborate with an outstanding group of individuals who, together, have taken on the responsibility of creating a new presence in Serbia. What began as a mere concept in September 2022 quickly transformed into a remarkable reality, in November 2022 when my team of dedicated recruiters orchestrated our first job fair in Serbia. Over the span of just one week, the team (Recruiters and Hiring Managers) conducted nearly 100 interviews with prospective candidates in a completely unfamiliar territory—a challenge we embraced with unwavering determination.

By January 16, 2023, we had successfully assembled our first cohort of 14 exceptionally talented Engineers, QAs, and Developers, who embarked on their journey within our organization. Initially, we had secured a modest office space to accommodate this initial team, with plans to evaluate our progress over the next three years and incrementally augment our workforce. However, fate had a different plan for us, one guided by the remarkable individuals we had the privilege of bringing on board.

In the month of April, we hosted our second job fair, during which we conducted interviews with over 100 remarkable candidates and extended offers to 22 more outstanding individuals. We returned to Serbia again in July for our third job fair, ultimately welcoming 24 more outstanding talents into our organization.

It became abundantly clear that we were quickly outgrowing our initial office space designed for a team of 14. Thus, the next chapter of our adventure unfolded—a new milestone in our journey—the establishment of a dedicated BlueCat office right here in Serbia. On September 22nd, 2023, we unveil the new office to our global organization.

Reflecting upon the past year, I can confidently say that it's been marked by challenges, enjoyment, and invaluable learning experiences. I am immensely proud of the achievements we have attained thus far, and I am truly excited about the promising future that lies ahead.
