Celebrating World Kindness Day with a Story of Community & Connection

In honor of World Kindness Day, we're sharing a heartwarming story that exemplifies the power of kindness and the ripple effect it can have within our community.

Earlier this year, our Veteran Support Community Partner, K9s For Warriors , visited our Southpark, FL location with their amazing service dog, Banks. During their visit, they expressed interest in learning about our other local partnerships, including our work with the New Image Youth Center, Inc , a Florida Youth Outreach organization.

We shared details about our upcoming Associate Appreciation Days, where our team members would be assembling donation bags, each containing a laptop, for the youth center. In a spontaneous act of generosity, K9s For Warriors offered to donate several brand-new tablets to the cause.

Touched by their offer, we were surprised and delighted a few months later when the tablets arrived at our office. We were then able to deliver them to the New Image Youth Center, where they will be put to great use by the children and teens they serve.

This unexpected act of kindness highlights the incredible impact of community connections. Seeing two of our valued partners come together to support one another is truly inspiring.

On World Kindness Day, and every day, let's all commit to spreading kindness, big or small. Together, we can make a difference, one act at a time.
