Celebrating Women's History Month at Prime

March is Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements of women throughout history. This month also serves as a reminder of the progress made towards gender equality and the ongoing fight to create a more equitable society. ?

Throughout the month, Prime’s Women + Allies (W+A) Employee Resource Group (ERG) hosted a series of educational events including conversations about gender equality in the workplace and ongoing education about influential women in history.??

Some of the events the W+A ERG hosted in March included:???

• Women’s History Month Happy Hour co-hosted with the Black Professional + Allies ERG celebrated International Women’s Day with casual conversations, fun games, and an opportunity to network with fellow ERG members. ?
• Empowered to Lead: Practical Advice for Women, where attendees learned about how becoming a strong female leader involves being self-aware, having strong knowledge of your team, and being attuned to the pulse of the organization and the broader environment. ???
• March New Moon Gathering, a small group meeting that regularly meets on (or near) the new moon each month to set professional intentions and plant the seeds for new endeavors or focused growth areas.?During the meeting, attendees had time to reflect, journal and voluntarily share their goals with a supportive group of their professional peers.??
• Look me in the eye: A workshop on confidence, focused on understanding imposter syndrome and the body language of confidence to help attendees build the skills they need to succeed in a confidence culture.??
