Celebrating Women@Ivy
At Ivy, we want to foster a culture where everyone feels comfortable and empowered, and where everyone can achieve their full potential. Bias, whether conscious or unconscious, makes progress difficult for everyone, not just women. Powered by the theme #BreakTheBias we hosted a live event for all Ivy employees. Our in-house speakers Gomathy Narayan Sankara and Shuchi Dwivedi shared insights on how Ivy supports the wellbeing of women through various programs like Reboot@Ivy and MOM on board. Dr. Shraddha Sanghani (Consultant Internal Medicine, MD Internal Medicine, PGDip Endocrinology_UK ) was invited to speak on Enhancing Women’s Health. The webinar came to a close with an interactive Q&A session.?

We also asked them for their advice to fellow women colleagues and these are some points they shared..
Aim for Excellence: In whatever you do, Be Magnificent! Never settle! Show Gratitude! Shatter the glass ceiling, Let's put in more effort to become a better version of ourselves.
Exhibit Confidence! Be Bold: Believe in yourself! Be Yourself! Don’t be intimidated by being a woman in a project where you might be the only woman. Let go of any inhibitions based on gender and above all, do not hesitate to voice out your opinion.
Be Passionate about your Job: The 3 D's - Desire, Devotion and Discipline will make you a Champion. Do your job with all your heart and passion. Make sure that whatever you do, always enjoy what you’re doing and find your Ikigai and the world will be your oyster.
Take Ownership: Take accountability for your work. When you're personally accountable, you take ownership of situations that you're involved in. Listening is very important, when you hear right from a source, you’ll have a deeper understanding of their perspective, which is key to solving any problem.
Have a Learning Attitude: Learning attitude affects how well you think, strategize, prioritize, decide what to do with your career. View failures and feedback as a gift and keep learning be it new technologies or skills and keep yourself updated with new industry trends.
Be Optimistic! Train your brain to be more optimistic. Learn to absorb good around you and ignore the bad things. Be Kind, rational and objective and persevere in all situations.
You are your priority! Balancing your responsibilities and finding a way to get everything done without feeling stressed or tired can be difficult. But we need to work on striking a Balance in WORK - HEALTH - LIFE. Set life goals for self-growth and happiness, seek opportunities, face your fears, leverage your strengths, seek help. Don’t forget to pat your back on the small steps you climb and celebrate your achievements!
