Celebrating Women in Tech (Mar 2024)
This month we are proudly shining a spotlight on the incredible women driving innovation and shaping the vibrant culture within Nexthink. From groundbreaking contributions to our product development to fostering an inclusive and empowering work environment, these remarkable individuals exemplify the spirit of excellence and collaboration that defines Nexthink. Let's celebrate their achievements and explore the profound impact they have on both our company and the tech industry at large.
Gorica is a Senior Product Manager at Nexthink based in Lausanne and has been with the company since 2018. You may recognize her from some of our recent videos highlighting #NQL and customer reviews. She's currently focusing on Investigations including Visual Editor and Search in hopes of helping our customers improve DEX by making Nexthink data simply discoverable and accessible. According to Gorica's manager Mario Tarallo , on top of deeply caring about the products she oversees, she also cares "about the success and well-being of the colleagues she works with. She’s always ready to offer support whenever her colleagues seek her expertise and guidance."
While Gorica mentions that she sometimes struggles with confidence or underestimating her skills, she has since "learned to see assertiveness as a skill that needs to be developed and practiced." And it seems that work has paid off because Mario also points out that, "She's very active and vocal when it comes to proactively identifying and suggesting opportunities to improve our ways of working."
Aneta Suchanecka
Aneta is also a Senior Product Manager out of Lausanne, but with her main focus on Alerts and Diagnostics aimed at empowering IT teams to proactively identify, and resolve IT issues. She introduced cross-customer insights to enhance our diagnosis capabilities which her manager Guillaume CHARLES notes " is now a huge competitive advantage and adds extra value to troubleshoot at scale." Aneta says that "working on a product with a clear purpose is truly exciting and our relentless pace of innovation not only keeps my work dynamic but also consistently delivers new value to our customers."
Aneta reflected on having to overcome many hurdles in her early military career and also making personal choices like prioritizing family needs over something like frequent travel which have traditionally had more impact on women. However, she's found that working in the tech space has offered equal opportunities and minimal obstacles and she is "hopeful that this equality is becoming more of a norm rather than an exception."
Divya joined the engineering organization as part of the security team in 2021. With a background as a software development engineer and a strategy consultant Divya has positioned herself to make a major impact as the Compliance Lead managing all governance, risk, and compliance at Nexthink. She often works work with the auditors who provide assurance about the security of our product and says that she gets "excited when [she] tells them about how our product improves the digital employee experience." Her passion for how the Nexthink product improves productivity and reduces the stress of lost time is what makes her a true asset to the team. While Divya notes that challenges are a part of everyday life, she also recognizes that "women had a late start in the field ?STEM, but being the powerhouse of multitasking talented individuals, we have been making up for that lag and showing our might to the world already."
Shanshan joined Nexthink less than a year ago as a Product Manager and is another shining star on Guillaume CHARLES 's team. He emphasized that even in such a short time she has "already made a huge positive impact on the product. She’s proactive and gets things done." Her focus on cloud intelligence and according to her manager, "solving one of the most complex problems end-user computing ever had: personalized IT," will have a major impact and add so much value to our customers which excites her the most about the Nexthink product. She enjoys that our customers co-create with us, and thinks "the amount of involvement and effort they bring is impressive."

Growing up in China Shanshan revealed that it was always a financial necessity to have women work and so the boundaries of what a "typical" job for a woman were much less visible. She says that, "growing up in that environment, it set the foundation for me that I am not any different in comparison to men when it comes to things I would wish to do, explore and achieve in life, and work is part of it" and she will forever be grateful for the working women she had as role models who wanted to be someone and do something.
As another one of our Senior Product Managers, Anna's primary responsibility is the management of the Nexthink product platform, which comprises functionality like configuration, permissions, and content organization. It's what provides the common framework that most features in the Nexthink product are built upon. She enjoys "that our product helps make employees happier and more productive and loves the pace at which we innovate in building it." Since coming to Nexthink in 2022 she has become an integral part of the team and according to her manager Lo?c Pfister , "She has a unique ability to find commonalities in complex topics and simplify them to derive an iterative roadmap based on value. Anna’s performance has consistently been outstanding, raising the expectations of her role and job."
Dani is an Engineering Director based in Madrid and has had impressive influence and impact on the product since joining the Nexthink team in 2016. Some of her major projects include the development of the Infinity platform and AWS region migrations, while sprinkling in engaging initiatives like the Engineering Games . She is currently working on integrating the best of recently acquired AppLearn? into the Nexthink product as well as facilitating the delivery of our next big project. ?? Dani's manager Pierre Papera says that she "has become one of our ingredients of success to our most strategic initiatives. Wherever she lands, she improves clarity, ensures coordination and adds a greater sense of confidence in complex technical initiatives that span across teams, groups and locations."
Dani's positive energy is contagious and her sense of adventure and creativity contribute to the culture of innovation within her team and beyond. Pierre says that "while everyone acknowledges her incredible willingness and resilience, it is her unwavering enthusiasm and collaborative spirit that makes her this special ingredient who can transform any good project into a great one."
