Celebrating the Women of MGM Resorts

Today, MGM Resorts joins the global community in celebration of International Women’s Day. As a company, we have long known and embraced the great organizational strength that results from a diverse and inclusive workplace. On this day, I celebrate the incredible women we have at every level of our company, all of whom do amazing work to help make MGM Resorts the industry leader that it is.

Throughout my long tenure here, I have been privileged to work alongside and learn from countless women who have exhibited exceptional talent and qualities of leadership. In fact, with women comprising 49.8% of our entire employee base, it’s safe to say that half of everything we accomplish as a company is the direct result of the many talented women who fill our ranks.??

I am extremely proud and encouraged by the work MGM Resorts has done to accelerate equal opportunity and access to leadership roles. As of December 31, 2021,?women comprised 44% of our management roles, representing an improvement of +3% since 2019.??While we?still have some more work to do as a company, we continue to make progress toward our goal of?equal access to leadership opportunities for all employees, including women.

On International Women’s Day I want to do more than pause and reflect; I want to reinforce a strong personal commitment. MGM Resorts' Senior Leadership Team and I will continue to lead and champion the efforts and programs that will accomplish our goal for equality within leadership. Significant efforts include:

1.?Ensuring that our hiring practices are free of bias so that candidates get equal consideration is an important component of this work. New Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training on subconscious bias is being rolled out later this year for all employees and will be particularly impactful among hiring managers and those who have the power to promote.

2.?Providing programs that help eliminate professional and educational barriers for women and other diverse employees to help clear pipelines into higher level management roles:

a.?Tuition-free higher education is offered through our?College Opportunity Program. Out of the?176 employees enrolled this semester, 114 (65%) are women.?

b.?The Accelerated Leadership Program was launched last year and is?designed to educate and develop leaders who have the potential to take on senior leadership roles across a variety of areas in our company. Among last year’s cohort were 19 women.

c.?Mentorship provides individuals with professional feedback and encouragement to find their voice, exhibit executive presence and develop the confidence to go for jobs that previously might have been considered unattainable. A formalized mentorship program was created in July of 2021?and, of the 331 people currently enrolled, 170 (51%) are women.??More information about how to participate in the mentorship program will be made available company-wide in the coming weeks.

Continuous learning and mentorship are some of the most important factors for an individual’s professional development. Such skills increase one’s professional marketability and opportunity for promotion.?

We have a long way to go as a company, as an industry, and as a society, but I’m hopeful that programs like these will help get us there sooner than might otherwise have been possible.??

I’m so grateful to all the women who have established their career here at MGM Resorts and for the daily contributions you make to the excellent guest service on which we pride ourselves. Thank you for all that you do for our company.

My wife was sexually assaulted by three security guards at the aria hotel I am trying to file a complaint but the manager keep hanging up saying we can’t file complaint and the security officers have to file the complaint I spoke to security they refused to put a manager on the phone I asked his name and he told me he wasn’t giving me his name and then hang up on me called back then repeatedly did the same over and over. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general office of Nevada can you please have somebody reach out to me that can fix this issue because how many other people this happened too?
